SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Chiefs' prospect Ty Smith earned a silver medal at the 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway as Team Canada lost in the tournament final on Sunday, 5-2 to Team USA. Smith, who was selected by the Chiefs first overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft out of Lloydminster, Alberta, served as Team Captain for the Canadian team as they went 4-2-0-0 in the tournament.
