Rookie of the Year Napheesa Collier Headlines 2019 WNBA All-Rookie Team

September 16, 2019 - NEW YORK - WNBA Rookie of the Year forward Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx leads the 2019 WNBA All-Rookie Team as one of four unanimous selections, the WNBA announced today. The 2019 WNBA All-Rookie Team also features Indiana Fever center Teaira McCowan, Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale, Las Vegas Aces guard Jackie Young, and Phoenix Mercury forward Brianna Turner. September 16, 2019 - MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The WNBA today announced that Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier has been selected as the 2019 Rookie of the Year by a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. Collier, named on 29 of 43 ballots, is the third No. 6 overall pick to win Rookie of the Year (Temeka Johnson 2005, Betty Lennox 2000) and the lowest draft selection since Johnson in 2005 to win the award. September 16, 2019 - NEW YORK - Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier has been named the 2019 WNBA Rookie of the Year, the WNBA announced today. She is the first Lynx player to earn the honor since Maya Moore in 2011. Collier received 29 votes from a national panel of 43 sportswriters and broadcasters. Hamby's Steal, 35-Footer Sends Aces to WNBA Semifinals With, 93-92, Win over Chicago

September 15, 2019 - LAS VEGAS, NV - Dearica Hamby's steal and 35-footer with 4.6 seconds remaining gave the Las Vegas Aces a 93-92 victory in the Second Round of the WNBA Playoffs. KEY RUNS First Quarter Las Vegas led by two, 4-2, when Chicago scored 10 of the next 12 points to go up 12-6. A 6-0 run late in the quarter gave them their biggest lead of the quarter at 12, 29-17.
