Iginla Scores Twice In Canada's Victory
April 26, 2024 - Kelowna Rockets forward Tij Iginla scored twice as Canada cruised to a 6-0 victory over Czechia in its second preliminary-round game at the 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship. Three other WHL players found the scoresheet in the victory. The top-ranked 2024 NHL Draft prospect found the back of the net with a shorthanded strike less than two minutes into the match. April 26, 2024 - Swift Current, Sask. - Broncos goaltender Reid Dyck has joined the Providence Bruins of the AHL on an Amatuer Try Out (ATO) deal as the Calder Cup Playoffs get underway. Dyck was originally a sixth-round pick, 183rd overall, by the Boston Bruins in the 2022 NHL Draft, and just finished his fourth season with the Broncos. The 2004-born netminder had a career year for the Broncos, going 25-7-2 in 35 games, earning a 2.70 goals-against-average, and a .911 save-percentage.
