Vrieling pitched 7.2 hitless and scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts in the win against the Hartford Yard Goats on 4/19. In his first professional season, the Yankees' 2022 3 rd round selection out of Gonzaga, is 2-0 with a 0.48 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 18.2 innings pitched in three starts. Yankees Currently Scheduling MLB Rehab Assignment for INF DJ LeMahieu with Somerset

April 21, 2024 - Bridgewater, New Jersey - The New York Yankees are currently scheduling to have INF DJ LeMahieu begin an MLB Rehab Assignment with the Double-A Somerset Patriots on Tuesday, April 23 when the team travels to Reading to take on the Fightin Phils. The game is scheduled for 6:45 pm. LeMahieu was placed on the 10-day injured list on 3/25 with a right foot contusion. April 21, 2024 - The Somerset Patriots defeated the Hartford Yard Goats by a score of 8-2 on Sunday afternoon at TD Bank Ballpark to earn a split of their six-game series at home. Somerset plated seven unanswered runs on eight hits between the sixth and seventh innings to take the game's decisive lead. LHP Brock Selvidge (5.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 4 K) earned a no-decision in his third Double-A start and did not allow an earned run, while stranding six runners on base. Rice Homers for Fourth Straight as Yard Goats Outlast Patriots in Saturday Night Slugfest

April 20, 2024 - The Somerset Patriots were defeated by the Hartford Yard Goats by a score of 10-8 on Saturday night at TD Bank Ballpark. All 10 of Hartford's runs in the game came with two outs, as did 14 out of the Yard Goats' 15 hits and both of their walks. Offensively, Somerset's 13 hits were a season-high, while the pitching staff's 15 hits allowed matched their most in a game this season (April 12 @NH).
