May 27, 2022 - (PEORIA, IL) - The Lake County Captains (21-20) have taken the first three games of their only series against the Peoria Chiefs (17-25) winning game three by a score of 3-2 on an overcast Thursday night at Dozer Park. The game was delayed one hour and five minutes, due to rain that poured throughout the day. The Peoria grounds crew worked to make the field playable and did so, with the game commencing at 7:40 p.m. CST. Peoria took their first lead of the series in the second inning. May 25, 2022 - (PEORIA, IL) - The Lake County Captains (20-20) have won the first two games of the series against the Peoria Chiefs (17-24) taking game two by a score of 5-1 in seven innings, which was halted due to a downpour at Dozer Park. The Captains once again started off strong. Raynel Delgado and Christian Cairo both singled and a fielder's choice put runners on the corners with two outs. May 24, 2022 - (PEORIA, IL) - It took extra innings, but the Lake County Captains (19-20) bested the Peoria Chiefs (17-23) by a score of 6-4 in 11 innings. It was the first extra-inning nine-inning game and win for Lake County this season on an overcast Tuesday evening at Dozer Park. May 20, 2022 - (CEDAR RAPIDS, IA) - The Lake County Captains (16-19) knocked two home runs in a 5-1 win over the Cedar Rapids Kernels (25-12) on an overcast 65-degree Friday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Alexfri Planez made his return to the lineup, starting his first game since April 23rd.
