Capitals Loan Hunter Shepard to Hershey, Garin Bjorklund Re-Assigned to Stingrays

January 18, 2025 - (Hershey, PA) - The Washington Capitals, the National Hockey League affiliate of the Hershey Bears, announced today that goaltender Hunter Shepard has been loaned to Hershey. Additionally, the Capitals announced that goaltender Garin Bjorklund has been re-assigned from Hershey to the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. The announcements were made by Washington senior vice president and general manager Chris Patrick. January 17, 2025 - (Hershey, PA) - Alex Limoges posted a goal and an assist, as the Hershey Bears (24-11-3-0) upended Belleville Senators (15-13-1-4) by a score of 4-1 on Friday night at GIANT Center, as the club continued its 2024-25 season, presented by Penn State Health. The victory was Hershey's third consecutive win, and improved the club to 5-1-0-0 since the start of 2025. Forward Ryan Hofer Re-Assigned to Hershey

January 16, 2025 - (Hershey, PA) - The Washington Capitals, the National Hockey League affiliate of the Hershey Bears, announced that forward Ryan Hofer has been re-assigned to Hershey from the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. Hofer, 22, has appeared in 21 games with South Carolina this season, scoring seven points (5g, 2a) and logging 28 penalty minutes. He has posted four points (2g, 2a) over his last five outings.
