April 24, 2024 - HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - The SPHL named Fayetteville Marksmen forward Simon Boyko Rookie of the Year Wednesday.
Boyko, 25, was named to the 2023-24 All-Rookie team and All-SPHL Second Team after skating in 39 games for Fayetteville during the 2023-24 season and tallying 56 points (27G+29A). His 19 powerplay points (8G+11A) led rookies in all three categories.

The six-player list is composed of three forwards, two defenseman and one goalie, with Fayetteville represented in each of the categories after finishing the regular season in fourth place overall and having the most ECHL call-ups of any SPHL teams.

April 9, 2024 - HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - The SPHL announced Ryan Kenny as the Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week Tuesday.
Kenny, 24, finished the weekend with 2 wins and 1 shutout against the Pensacola Ice Flyers, making 65 saves on 67 shots against in the series.
In his first SPHL season, Kenny leads the league in save percentage with a .929 and has a third-ranked 2.38 goals against average in 32 games. The shutout Saturday was his second of the campaign.
