ROANOKE, VA. - The Rail Yard Dawgs (16-9-3) locked down the offensive output by the Birmingham Bulls (14-12-3) on Saturday night, scoring twice in the first period and holding on the rest of the way food a 2-1 victory at Berglund Center. Fetterly Drives Prowlers to Fifth-Straight Win
The Port Huron Prowlers won their fifth-straight game as they defeated the Mississippi Sea Wolves 4-2 at McMorran Place. With the win and Watertown's loss tonight, Port Huron moves into second in the Empire Division. "The guys are coming together," said Prowlers captain Austin Fetterly. BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Springfield Thunderbirds (17-15-2-1) had six players record multiple points in a 6-4 triumph over the Bridgeport Islanders (8-25-2-2) on Saturday night at Total Mortgage Arena. Providence, RI - Goaltender Michael DiPietro stopped all 26 shots and forward Max Jones netted two goals, helping the Providence Bruins blank the Syracuse Crunch 5-0 on Saturday night at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
